St Moritz Hotel in Cornwall hosts Solid as a Rock party this Friday 28th April

Cornwall's coastal St Moritz Hotel & Cowshed Spa has announced that it is relaunching its VIP locals' club, 'Solid As Rock' on Friday 28th April and all Cornish residents are invited to an exclusive cocktail party at the hotel to mark the occasion. New membership reward cards will also be set up during the evening. The innovative 'very important locals' Solid As Rock programme was initially established back in 2013 and a decade later feels like the perfect time to rejuvenate and relaunch the popular programme, post-pandemic.

Home to the only Cowshed Spa outside of Soho House properties, the hotel's spacious architecture consists of gargantuan apartments, super-sized suites, comfortable villas, cosy hotel rooms, a state-of-the-art gym and leisure club, tennis courts, an indoor and outdoor pool and two bars and restaurants.

Hugh Ridgway invites all existing and prospective members to join him for the complimentary spring cocktail launch from 6pm – 7.30pm – although the party will continue until 11pm. St Moritz head chef, Jonathan Dome and his team will be working hard to ensure a range of seasonal canapes will be circulating alongside complimentary cocktails as special guests take in the sounds of live music from Luke Scott Burdge and the sights of the Camel estuary towards Stepper Point and the Atlantic beyond. Drinks will be available for purchase in the Seaside Cafe until 1 1pm and food will be available until 9 pm. A welcome speech will be given by Hugh Ridgway to guests at 7:45 pm.

Those wishing to join the elite group, simply need to prove they are a resident living within a PL, TR or EX postcode (includes West Devon and South Hams). To become a member, rock up at the St Moritz Hotel and show proof of your qualifying address. You will then be added to the Solid As Rock hot list and presented with your card. Benefits include a points-based system that rewards you with vouchers to use in the hotel. Special SAR prices will also be available at certain times. For example, Moules Wednesdays will be £15 for SAR members instead of regular £18.50. Every time you experience St Moritz, you'll earn one point when using your registered payment card to settle your bill for every £1 you spend. One point is worth 5 pence.
