As summer approaches and wedding season hits full swing, new research from American Express has found...
Caerhays Castle in Cornwall is set to host its Wedding Open Day on 15th March 2020 from 11am until 4pm.
Tucked away in a Cornish cove on the unspoilt Porthluney Beach, couples can enjoy a day exploring what this luxury venue has to offer, from the main Georgian country house, known as The Vean, to the romantic Coastguards Lookout with its breathtaking sea views. There's also the option of a marquee on Beach Meadow complete with castle views.
The natural beauty of the surrounding coastline and its steep valleys, the rich history of the area and everything else that the estate offers sets the scene for an idyllic wedding celebration. Ceremonies can take place in The Coastguards Lookout for up to 20 close loved ones, with views stretching across to Veryan Bay and beyond. They also take place in the Vean with receptions held in an elegant marquee on the lawn for up to 150 guests.
The Wedding Open Day is also a great chance to enjoy entry into the gardens, which will be free. Visitors need to register in advance. To do this, and for further information, visit https://visit.caerhays.co.uk/weddings/ or call 01872 501 310.
