This magical set of barns has a unique charm of their own and can be exclusively yours over three days to create your most memorable wedding.

Registered for civil weddings, Avalen Farm can offer you the complete package from a beautifully finished bridal suite to the wedding ceremony, bar, large dining room and kitchens. Our emphasis is on fewer weddings at a relaxed pace, so you have time to enjoy and make your dreams become a reality. From the minute you approach the farm, the beauty of Avalen and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking with the courtyard of interlinking barns providing a truly unique place for any couple to hold their special day.

We pride ourselves on our versatility. We have thought about every aspect of your big day and designed the wedding venue accordingly, with a designated ceremony room, stunning purpose built wedding breakfast barn and characterful bar. Every wedding is bespoke and with an amazing blank canvas you are welcome to put your own personal touch on each of the barns as well as our outside areas.

For a truly idyllic wedding you have the flexibility of holding your ceremony in two beautiful spaces. We offer a ceremony room full of character with amazing views of outstanding natural beauty, or we can offer a romantic arch way on our lawn with picturesque views of Helman Tor.

We allow you to personalize your wedding exactly as you desire. Whether you envision a grand celebration or a cozy gathering, we are here to assist you in bringing your dream day to life.

The name Avalen means apple tree in Cornish so as a lifetime memory to mark each couples special day an apple tree will be planted alongside the ancient woodlands here at Avalen farm.

You may feel like you are miles from anywhere here at Avalen however it is easily accessible from all corners of the county being just minutes off the A30.
We host weddings on both Wednesdays and Saturdays, you can access the venue from 12pm the day before and we do ask that everything is cleared by 12pm the day after the wedding. Our prices include exclusive use of the entire venue and a 2 night stay in the Carthouse.
