Polurrian On The Lizard
This award-winning Cornish wedding venue in Helston offers the space, facilities and freedom to create an unforgettable day. There’s fantastic food and drink, impressive sea view reception rooms and 41 individually styled bedrooms to wow guests. Both intimate weddings and large parties can be catered for, with a choice of exclusive and non-exclusive packages and the experienced wedding and events team is on hand to help couples realise their dream day.
On a clear day, the uninterrupted views from Polurrian Cove stretch to the southwest tip of Cornwall, including the iconic St Michael’s Mount. Ceremonies and receptions take place in The Cove View Suite which provides a perfect blank canvas for most themes. This versatile room is bright and airy, with its own bar, private washroom facilities and views of the sea from its private terrace. The suite has a maximum capacity of 90 guests for the ceremony and up to 100 people seated for the wedding breakfast. During the high season from May to December, prices start from £1,000 and during the low season from January to April, prices start from £700.
The restaurant offers stunning, panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean and is decorated and furnished in a modern, contemporary style, offering a maximum capacity of 60 ceremony guests. This space has been designed with a timeless style and laid-back comfort in mind. It’s available to hire from January to June and during September, October and November with prices from £2,500. A vista ceremony starts from £1,500.
Perfect for smaller, more intimate ceremonies and the wedding breakfast for a maximum of up to 60 guests is the Marconi room with its classic details, fitting for a timeless wedding. Prices start from £500 during the high season from May until December and from £300 during the low season from January to April.
Alternatively, the spacious and stunning Vista Lounge offers uninterrupted sea views, gorgeous furnishings and fittings and is bathed in natural light. Guests will be blown away by the sheer beauty of this space that’s large enough to host an impressive celebration yet still create a party atmosphere.
For couples who book the Island View Suite package, the mini electric Nosmoke vehicle is available to use. There’s also a Hen Party Special, perfect for those who want a pre-wedding pamper that includes a one-night stay with dinner, bed and breakfast plus cocktail making and a signature cocktail or prosecco on arrival. It also includes full use of the Health Club facilities plus a 30-minute treatment for the hens and an hour for the bride-to-be. Rates start from £314.
