Two Bridges Hotel

Commanding a unique riverside location in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, with views of the rolling countryside in every direction, this hotel features riverside lawns sweeping down to the crystal-clear waters of the West Dart River. The Riverside Pagoda takes centre stage for a romantic outdoor wedding and the informal, beautiful gardens which surround the hotel merge into the open moorland beyond.

A beautiful country house hotel and former coaching inn oozing a sense of character and style from the first glimpse as guests arrive over the historic bridge across the West Dart River, visitors will feel like they have stepped back in time. It’s filled with antiques, flickering candlelight, crackling log fires and a sense of warmth and well-being. From the award-winning Tors Restaurant to the elegant, light-filled Fountain Room function suite, each area boasts a sense of heritage, quality and occasion. Guests can stay the night in a choice of individually styled rooms, from characterful Country Rooms to distinctly indulgent Premier Rooms with four poster beds and spa baths.

Ceremonies take place in the historic Tors Room for up to 140 guests. It’s filled with antiques, and fine artwork and lit by candlelight. The light and airy Fountain Room with French windows opening on to the gardens is another option for up to 40 guests while the traditional pagoda perched on the riverbank offers a stunning outdoor wedding location for up to 140 guests seated on the adjacent lawn.

Receptions are enjoyed in the Georgian Room that’s perfect for an intimate and stylish wedding breakfast for up to 20 loved ones while the Fountain Room seats up to 100 for a larger gathering.

Hen party trends for 2025

If you're planning a hen party in 2025, you're in for a treat. The trends for next year are shaping up to be fresh, fun and full of personality, offering something for every type of bride and her tribe. Hen party experts Fizzbox give us a sneak peek of their predictions on what's hot for hens in 2025. Drag shows have been a hen party staple for a while but, in 2025, they're stepping firmly into the spotlight. With drag culture thriving thanks to shows like RuPaul's Drag Race and its ever-expanding global franchises, hens are falling in love with the glitz, glamour and unapologetic fun that comes with a drag-themed celebration. Expect everything from live performances at local drag bars to private workshops where the group can learn how to strut in heels, master a smoky eye or perform their own lip-sync battle. The bottomless brunch industry will continue to boom with drag brunches taking centre stage. This is a standout trend for 2025.
