British independent brand The Camden Watch Company, founded by wife and husband team Anneke Short and Jerome Robert, have released a new addition to their No.27 range – The Camden Watch Company No.27 Oxblood and Oxblood.
The No.27 is a modern reworking of the classic vintage dials found on Victorian floor clocks and pocket watches. The 37mm unisex stainless steel case surrounds a striking oxblood coloured dial with stainless steel Roman Numeral hour markers. A second level to the dial is adorned with highly polished triangular studs, inspired by the metal rivets used on railways. And with an added touch of a ‘train-track’ minute indicator, this timepiece is a modern reworking.
Anneke Short, co-founder and designer of The Camden Watch Company, said: “After the popularity of the limited oxblood colour we released for our Swiss Made Automatic, we decided we would create a timepiece in the same colour for our No.27 range, something more affordable. Especially after the colour went a bit nuts from our social media followers.”
